In Five Years (in one day)

The book is about a type A woman who has a "dream" five years in the future in a new apartment and a new man other then her fiance. She wakes back up to the present and eventually meets the dream guy.

The book's saving grace was the beautiful friendship between the MC, Dannie, and her best friend, Bella. This was a day read for me, and competently made. I can't say I really felt a strong connection to any of the individual characters, but definitely related to some of the feelings they had regarding themselves and their relationships. And the writing was just really breezy to get through.

I won't spoil it, but- overall, an enjoyable book with an unique take on the "forbidden romance" that I did not expect. I strongly recommend not going in thinking this is going to be a lighthearted romp about a woman trying to avoid the mysterious stranger of her dream's, and ultimately falling for him, because it takes a way different turn than I expected.
